**EUROPEAN HR MANAGER**

**Role Summary**
Reporting to Managing Director of Europe (Ireland) and Global HR Director (China) you will be responsible for the full HR activity portfolio across the European region. The Role will be based in the group biggest plant in Langeais (37), France. But the incumbent is expected to travel regularly to local jurisdictions and to acquaint themselves with local teams and local laws and regulations.
**The HR Manager will**
- Act as a key resource for all European employees and Business Teams with regards to the employment laws and regulations, employee data management and HR matters such as payroll and benefits, on-boarding, performance, talent mapping, recruiting, succession planning, etc.
- Work close with Managing Director Europe, CFO and HR Director (China) and all local Business Teams on project implementation.
- Oversee and guide the activities of two local HR administrators in France and the Netherlands
**Key duties and main responsibilities**
Performance Management and Remuneration.
- Own the process of periodic employee performance evaluation and ensure timely delivery of annual and bi-annual reviews.
- Support the design and implementation of KPI’s and trackers for core positions related to annual short term incentive plans
- Labour Cost control across all group companies and functions.
Staffing and Competency development.
- Oversee EU recruitment & induction processes and undertake regular benchmarking by location.
- Manage the process of Talent review and Succession planning for core positions, in which you identify key talent bottlenecks and deficits and help plan recruitment accordingly.
- Monitor Headcount against Budget and forecast. Active involvement in the annual budgeting exercise.
- Oversee the Training and Developments requirements of all staff.
Policy and Administration.
- Coordinate the maintenance of and roll-out of processes and policies across all relevant (HR) areas in line with corporate requirements.
- Owner of HR system in the reporting locations
- Handle grievances, counsel employees, staff representative as head of HR and take disciplinary actions as and when required in coordination with local managers.
- Undertake HR audits on each site - ensuring record keeping and HR administration are being maintained in the HR system
- Collate and report on monthly KPI’s/Dashboards.
- Compliance management
Culture and Organisation.
- Support Management and Business Teams in their efforts to implement our corporate values and carry out a positive and unified company culture
- Establish a robust and sustainable routine monthly for interacting with each site in Europe.
- Own the employee communications channels

**Background and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a global and multi-cultural company, preferably in a “Manufacturing” environment
- Superior interpersonal, coaching, communication, negotiation, and consultative skills at all levels. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of French & European labour laws, practices, and HR system
- Fluent English & French

Le rôle sera basé dans la plus grande usine du groupe à Langeais (37), en France.
