Within **AXA EssentiALL** you will join the **Partnerships team** as the **Climate and Agriculture Analyst.**

AXA EssentiALL is the Group’s inclusive business unit. It aims to scale inclusive insurance solutions for the emerging middle class as part of the Unlock the Future strategy plan. The specific protection needs of this new client segment led us to reinvent insurance by simplifying products, building technology partnerships, and tying up with innovative distribution channel partnerships to better serve our clients. At end-2023, this initiative protected circa 14 million clients, contributing to financial inclusion and sustainable development through a business approach.

The AXA EssentiALL portfolio includes climate and agricultural programs, targeting smallholder farmers and rural communities in emerging markets. Programs need strong collaboration with distribution partners across value chains including FMCG brands and their suppliers, public sector insurers, financial institutions, multilateral organizations and donor agencies.

This position offers a unique opportunity to join the inclusive business unit of one of the leading global financial service players, ensuring emerging customers around the world gain access to protection for their families, businesses and communities.

**What You’ll Do**

**Support to project operations of insurance schemes for smallholder farmers and rural communities**:

- Support operational management of projects, including monitoring quality and timely delivery of project milestones and KPIs, development and coordination of project governance and project reporting.
- Manage regular project governance, scheduling meetings, drafting and reviewing presentation materials, drafting and distributing minutes.

**Support market analysis and business development of AXA EssentiALL Agriculture and Climate portfolio**:

- Maintain and update AXA EssentiALL agriculture and climate opportunities dashboard.
- Support Agriculture and PPP Lead in identifying product and market opportunities with local entities, including desk based research and monitoring of key trends/ market developments across AXA EssentiALL priority countries relevant to climate, agriculture and risk management (e.g. agricultural insurance, disaster risk finance, regenerative agriculture).

**Support to product and concept design for innovation in agriculture and climate solutions**:

- Support on developing concepts for new products related to inclusive insurance targeting agriculture and climate (e.g. parametric insurance, climate smart agriculture, regenerative agriculture, sustainable value chains and certification, disaster risk finance etc.)
- Country-specific or customer segment-specific research as needed.

**Votre profil**:
**Who You Are**
- Strong organisational skills with good planning ability and attention to detail
- Knowledge of development finance, financial inclusion, and/or insurance
- Keen interest in emerging markets, agriculture and rural communities
- Fluent in English - both written and spoken. Additional French language skills preferred.
- MS Office: Excel, Word, and Power Point - advanced level (mandatory)
