T&i Logistics Lead

**Job Description Summary**: To be part of the PMO Transport and Installation (T&I) Department of GE Wind Offshore. The department is responsible to engineer and develop the offshore installation strategy of the wind turbine generator (WTG) and to provide the transport and installation tools and services to execute the complete lifecycle of the WTG components transport and onshore/offshore installation.

The team is looking for a T&I Logistics Lead that will coordinate and support the management and optimization of the overall worldwide T&I products fleet logistics.

- Plan and monitor all transports (sea, land, air) for reverse logistics flow from marshalling harbor to factories in cooperation with applicable internal functions.
- Advise for and operate most efficient transport strategy, incl. modes, routing, transport equipment, delivery schedule in cooperation with Planning functions.
- Coordinate and track pick-ups and deliveries and port operators on daily base, track frames lead times
- Manage sea transports: vessel planning (for projects, initiatives) in cooperation with Planning department, RFQ/booking in cooperation with Sourcing, document control (BL, BN, demurrage/detention etc.)
- Coordinate port operations like vessel discharging, vessel loading in cooperation with Marshaling harbor, storage in POE / POI, communicate handling instructions
- Lead project specific reverse logistics OPEX cost estimate calculation and reporting actuals and variance in cooperation with Transport functions
- Work on vendor claim management and vendor recovery, e.g. send out Non-Conformity notes, liability notes
- Operate and communicate logistics related EHS and quality processes, incl. Non-Conformance/ Incident procedures
- Ensure operational carrier compliance with GE policies or procedures for product handling, storage, transport
- Re-examine current practices considering changing business environment, new vendors and requirements
- Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
- Create PR’s and follow-up on PO’s creation for the department, be the owner of the PO’s management and expenses tracker.
- Manage product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements, create proper sets of documents for customs purpose, liaise with Import / Export functions, be in contact with external companies for Customs HS codes definition, be in close contact with worldwide Customs brokers and internal Customs specialists, track the sets of documents produced by other functions in relation with tooling.
- Ensure proper reverse logistics preparation in Marshalling harbor physically and in the Asset Management system (CMMS)
- Follow-up reception & maintenance/welding inspections of frames, working times and reports from the different suppliers
- Ensure the proper flow of spare parts to avoid stops on maintenance operations in cooperation with the different suppliers.

- Gérer les transports maritimes : planification des navires (pour les projets, les initiatives) en coopération avec le service de planification, RFQ/réservation en coopération avec le Sourcing, contrôle des documents (BL, BN, surestaries/détention, etc.)
- Coordonner les opérations portuaires telles que le déchargement et chargement des navire en coopération avec le port d’installation (Hub)et le stockage
- Diriger le calcul de l'estimation des coûts de logistique inverse spécifique au projet et le rapport des chiffres OPEX réels et des variance
- Supporter la gestion des réclamations des fournisseurs et la récupération des fournisseurs, par ex. envoyer des notes de non-conformité, des notes de responsabilité
- Exploiter et communiquer les processus EHS et qualité liés à la logistique, incl. Procédures non-conformité/incident
