**Skills and Competencies**
- First experience in a sales, business development, or account management role within a software or financial services organization.
- Background or knowledge in fixed-income credit or financial software is a plus.
- Professional fluency in English is essential.
- Confident phone manner with strong objection-handling skills.
- Clear and effective written communication.
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
- Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with high attention to detail.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on performance metrics.
- Proficiency in internet research, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce is advantageous.
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; degree in finance, economics, or a related field is advantageous.
**Responsibilities**
- Drive sales growth by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound outreach.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to develop strategic account plans and territory coverage.
- Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales professionals for further development and closure.
- Co-design and execute targeted sales campaigns to enhance Moody’s brand visibility and market presence.
- Conduct research to gather contact information and account intelligence, enabling a deeper understanding of customer needs and informing sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software.
