Acoustic Testing Engineer

Responsible for the planning and execution of experimental acoustic testing investigations and measurements required at the different stages of the product business life cycle, in coordination with the respective business interfaces.
- Support review and reporting of the achieved results to the internal or external Customer.
- Support the management and development of the lab, essentially for what concerns experimental acoustic testing tools and méthodologies
- Support maintenance and continuous improvement of the local facilities and experimental acoustic testing equipment.
- Support standardization of experimental acoustic testing tools and methodologies within BGEU, in close collaboration with R&T.
- Monitor developments and trends in the field of experimental acoustic testing by participating to seminars, conferences and trade fairs.

Your qualifications
- Mechanical engineer with solid knowledge in acoustics and vibrations. PhD as a strong plus.
- First professional experience in the field of experimental acoustic testing within the automotive, aeronautics or railway industry.
- Experience with experimental testing solutions from world leading suppliers (LMS, HEAD acoustics, etc.).
- Strong organization, analytical and communication skills.
- Full working proficiency in French combined with a good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Global spirit and cross-border attitude.
- Willing to travel in case of need
