**Context and Organization**
As part of the Group strategy to focus on Electrification, the non-electrification Businesses have been regrouped in the same Business Group.
This business Group has - on top of the commitments of any other Business Group in Nexans - : to define its own Equity Story to optimize the value for Nexans and to prepare the carve-out of the activities which will be disposed as part of Nexans Equity Story.
**Purpose of the position**
ISP carve-out will be a complex transaction for financial processes. Despite the creation of dedicated legal entities, most of the Finance processes (excluding Controlling) are handled in Europe by Group shared services or Center of Excellence, this includes for example:
- Metal hedging & Treasury
- Credit Management
- Accounts payables
- General accounting
- Cost accounting
- HQ Finance functions (consolidation, internal control/audit, taxes.)
In order to prepare the carve-out and to ensure that the finance processes and organization of the new company are adequate, a new ISP Finance Transformation Director position is created.
**Areas of responsibility**
In order to prepare the carve-out, the ISP Finance Transformation Director will have to support ISP CFO to:
- Work with SSC and COE to identify clearly the RACI of each financial tasks performed by SSC and COE
- Define what are the critical resources/competencies which are a priority for the new company
- Define what is the targeted finance organization in all countries (including make or by) for the new company
- Define what will be the financial processes of the new company (delegations of authority, validation )
- Define with external advisors and Nexans, what is the carveout roadmap and timing
- Update / adjust the Finance TSAs based on the above
- Support all financial topics linked to the preparation of the transaction (transfer of cash, legal entities, tax impacts ) and ensure that the legal entities financial statements are ready to be reviewed (balance sheet reconciliation to be made in all legal Units)
**Expected results**
- Prepare the new company to be as autonomous as possible by identifying key skills and key processes to be implemented
- Coordinate with current SSC and COE to ensure a smooth transition for both parties
**Position sizing**
- Ensure the carve-out of ISP BG which should be a multi hundreds of millions transaction
- Interactions with many stakeholders in most functions at Corporate and ISP BU levels
- Help designing the financial processes and organization of a 800M€ company

- Extended knowledge of Nexans and its financial processes
- Ability to work with different functions in a complex environment
- Conflicts management / Capacity to find solutions to unexpected situations
- Demonstrated successes on complex financial projects management
- Strong knowledge in Finance including Accounting & Treasury
