**Job Summary**:
- As part of the Project Controls Organization, you will adopt and promote the M+W U.S., Inc. commitment to always provide a safe workplace that strives for an Incident and Injury Free environment where everyone goes home safe every day. You are responsible for ensuring that company safety policies and the Site Specific Plan are proactively communicated and consistently enforced on all projects. You are expected to take a leadership role with the rest of the M+W staff to provide a clear and concise position about our commitment to an Incident and Injury Free workplace and assist in the development / deployment of the M+W safety culture. You will work collaboratively with EHS staff as a resource for strategic and tactical implementation of EHS processes and procedures. In addition, you will participate in CERT and HAZMAT training as required by project responsibilities.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Efficiently and accurately resource load project schedules
- Prepare, baseline, status, maintain and report project schedule(s)
- Assist in the analysis of modifications to the to the project schedule
- Monitor and document monthly progress for assigned projects including critical path analysis, and schedule narratives
- Update and close schedules to support month end close and periodic reporting.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project schedule status reports for project managers
- Assist in time impact analysis studies
- Establish and maintain a project integrated master schedule including subcontracted efforts.
- Support business capture efforts as directed including development and maintenance of resource loaded proposal schedules, resource curves, and summary schedules for bid submission.
- Develop project recovery schedules and perform risk analysis with project team members
- Planning, scheduling, status and reporting progress of all site activities from contract award to contract closeout through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management phases of work,.
- Deploy standard work breakdown structure, coding, analysis and reports for project schedules maintained.
- Analyze detailed plans, development of recovery plans by engaging subcontractors inputs for materials, resources and tools
- Analyze and propose modifications to the project schedule and review with project staff, subcontractors, corporate leadership, solutions to the criticalities shown by the analysis of the project network, critical path and, with the ability to resolve conflicts or impacts to the overall schedule.
- Provide to the Project Manager all needed elements needed to issue Weekly/Monthly Reports
- Other duties as assigned from Project Controls Manager or Project Manager.
**Requirements**:
- Associate’s Technical degree (engineering, applied science, computing, or construction management or related field) from an ABET certified program and ten (13) years’ experience in project controls planning and scheduling roles of EPCC projects.
- Demonstrated experience in deployment of a work breakdown structure for use in planning and scheduling EPCC projects.
- Ability to analyze, communicate, recommend, implement and report schedule information to various audiences including subcontractors, project staff, corporate leadership, and project controls functional leadership.
- Proven track record of hands on experience in planning and scheduling with acumen to support project execution and corporate requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of project controls engineering concepts, specifically planning and scheduling skills.
- Experience on Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning (EPCC) projects is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience on EPCC projects over $100MM ($100 Million US) is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel to support both project and corporate needs.
- Demonstrated high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented complexities.
