Multisite Plant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Multisite Plant Manager to oversee operations at our manufacturing facilities in Lexy and in Rettel. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and regulations in France.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Leadership**:

- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals, including department managers and frontline employees.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and oversee recruitment and training.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in France.
- Promote a culture of safety and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications.
- Address quality issues promptly and effectively.
- **Financial Management**:

- Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
- Monitor and control operational expenses.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Drive process optimization and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to operational challenges.
- **Stakeholder Communication**:

- Act as the primary liaison between the plant and corporate leadership.
- Provide regular updates on plant performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- **Supply Chain and Inventory Management**:

- Ensure efficient supply chain operations and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to meet production demands.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5-7 years) in a plant management or senior manufacturing leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of French labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
