**Location**:

- The ideal location for this role is Paris, France, but can be based remotely in the US or UK.

**Primary Purpose**:

- This position will serve as a marketing expert in the cosmetic actives sector and collaborate with the larger team to develop business strategies that drive profitable growth.
- Support for the global sales team, and Active’s Business Déveloper sharing knowledge of the market trends and Actives portfolio across all categories and making tools according to the needs of suppliers and sellers
- The actives marketing manager will help launch new suppliers within the Univar Solutions portfolio and help drive the core messaging, positioning and overall marketing plans.- This role will act as a marketing advisor to the Beauty and Personal Care leadership team across disciplines, including senior management, sales, technical, R&D, product management, digital, NBD, etc.
- Acts as a brand champion across the business to ensure suppliers needs/wants are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Onboard new active suppliers within portfolio and ensure visibility in marketing campaigns (physical, digital, social)
- Support and advise new suppliers with claims testing in alignment with Legal and Product Manager teams
- Support Product Manager in filtering and identifying new suppliers within the INCUBATOR
- Lead business analysis and recommend strategic advice for future business development.
- Work collaboratively with regional marketing teams to ensure continuity, placement and alignment.
- Launch new products/ingredients to market through campaigns and digital outreach.
- Support global sales team and other internal stakeholders, arming them with market trends, competition, pricing.
- Develop new sales tools and trainings to internal teams to promote product knowledge.
- Canvas the market for competition and ensure our offerings stay relevant and consistent.
- Execute tradeshows/events in tandem with regional marketing managers.
- Speak at local conferences/events/exhibitions as the marketing expert for active ingredients

**Education/Experience**:

- Degree in marketing and/or sciences
- 3+ years of experience in B2B or B2B environment
- Extensive knowledge of the cosmetics active market
- Lab experience is a plus
- Experience working with global teams
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to lead with direct authority through influence
