Synaptics is looking for a Staff RF-Analog design Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-growing Analog/RF design center in Sophia Antipolis Technology Park. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate design engineer to join a successful, experienced team working on our next generation WiFi/BT connectivity chips. You will closely work with RF and Analog design experts to architect and design state of the art RF circuits in deep submicron processes. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Development Engineering.
Job Duties
- Architecture and design of high performance, low power RF circuits
- Lead block design from specification to layout implementation then lab characterization
- Partner closely with system, layout, and lab engineers
- Help the team to deliver on time with the required quality level
Competencies
- Good understanding of CMOS technologies and associated reliability issues
- Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and work ethic; unafraid to ask questions and explore new ideas
- A great team player with the ability to work with dynamic, geographically distributed teams
- Results oriented, creative problem solver able to solve problems through adapting technology and a solid understanding of product architecture

- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
**Qualifications**:
- Engineer school or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent
- 8 years of experience in RF-Analog design
- Proven experience in designing RF circuits such as LNA, Mixers
- Proven experience in designing RF-Analog circuits for submicron processes
- No travel required
