You will join a multi-cultural, dynamic and caring team working all together and closely on all the digital projects of the brand. Royal Canin's Digital Factory is key in achieving this strategy through the multiplicity of its practices: UX/UI, Development, Product Ownership, Market deployment, Architecture, Governance... While the team will develop new digitally enabled business models that will shape the future of Royal Canin and Eukanuba, they also support the transformation of our existing business models. In this Digital acceleration context, Royal Canin needs to reinforce its internal strengths with digital, user centric and data capabilities. Based in Aimargues, this job will sit in our Digital Factory, which mission are to: - Develop our Service-driven and digital platforms supporting “Pet Health Guardians” - Develop our key capabilities on Design Thinking, UX, Agile Management, Mobile/Web/Ecommerce development, Digital Platform deployment and Data-driven transformation. - Leverage those capabilities to design and build our future Business Models - Help in acquiring data and driving traffic to our owned assets, which will help transform data collected into digital performance metrics and business insights. The Digital factory, as part of the Direct to Pet Owner organization, works in strong partnership with Marketing and sales team and Innovation team. Reporting to the Develop Factory Lead, we are hiring a **Backend Architect**, who will define and drive the Backend technology strategy across the Digital Factory to support the organization ambitions. **What are we looking for ?**: - 7 to 15 years' experience in Microservices Development for digital environment - Management of complex technical projects on an international level & in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) - Ability to work with different teams and various team dynamics to achieve challenging delivery objectives - Lead of technical teams with external and internal actors - Fast Learner, Influencing and negotiations skills - Fluent in English **What will be your key responsibilities ?**: As **Backend Architect**, you will have to: **Leadership**: - He/she can establish the software/microservices architecture of his/her project or steer it in a different direction, in alignment with the technical direction of the project. - He/she oversees the quality of what is produced by his/her team. - He/she communicates on technical matters, leveraging his/her expertise and contributing to the visibility of his/her team's expertise. - The Architect is the technical lead of the project.
