**Your role as Tour Guide**
As part of our growth strategy to become a leading inbound travel company for the western markets, we are seeking a dedicated individual to support Japan Experience in Japan as Tour Guide.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Guiding people around Japan for both daily activities and longer tours across the country
- Creating and adjusting itineraries according to the customers wishes and requests
- Sharing information and deep insight on Japanese history, culture and society
- Taking care of transportation and logistics to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience
- Providing suggestions and recommendations to the guests
- Helping the customers during meals when part of the itinerary
- Offering overall on the ground customer support
- Welcoming customers upon their arrival at the airport
- Periodically supporting with tasks at the office

**Who are you?**
Your profile:

- Flexible availability including weekends
- Currently living in Tokyo or Kansai area
- Knowledgeable about Japanese culture, history, and traditions
- Experience in tour guiding in Japan
- Experience in tour leading in Japan is a plus
- Driving license is a plus

Minimum language requirements:

- English: Business level
- Japanese: Business level
- Proficiency in another language (French, Italian, Spanish or German) required

Your skills:

- Warm and welcoming personality
- Friendly and sociable, making it easy to connect with travelers
- Punctual, reliable, organized, and able to handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Great communication with both travellers and suppliers
