Your technical leadership will drive the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems that handle complex, high-volume payment processing, ensuring robust security, performance, and reliability. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will spearhead initiatives to deliver innovative payment features, elevating the experience for millions of global users **What you'll do** - Drive the vision for backend system design, making impactful architectural decisions to meet scalability and performance goals. - Lead the development of software that solves real-world payments and fintech challenges, impacting a vast customer base worldwide. - Tackle intricate payment-related computations, demonstrating advanced logical and technical expertise. - Oversee end-to-end feature delivery, from ideation and design through implementation, deployment, and optimization. - Proactively identify, propose, and implement strategic enhancements to the platform's architecture and infrastructure. **What you'll bring** - Technical Expertise: - Proficiency in Golang or similar general-purpose, compiled, and statically typed programming languages. - Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including high concurrency environments, transaction management, and isolation levels. - Scalability and Best Practices: - Deep understanding of the challenges of managing large-scale, high-volume SaaS platforms. - Proven ability to produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with industry best practices. - API Design: Expertise in designing secure, scalable, and well-documented APIs. - Proactive and Curious: A product-focused mindset, curiosity about emerging technologies, and a proactive, autonomous approach to problem-solving. **Advantageous** - Domain Expertise: Background in banking or payment systems (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, EBICS). - DevOps Knowledge: Experience with CI pipelines, GitLab, Kubernetes, and managing cloud infrastructure. - Cloud and Middleware: Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, EKS, RDS) and messaging systems like Kafka or similar brokers. **Your future** We aim to be the leading payments and cloud-banking platform, powering the future of banking and igniting financial change globally.
