**What about the job?**
**Missions**:
- To assist software engineering as occurring during the implementation of the company’s research projects and to participate to the ongoing research
**Tasks**:
- Work in close collaboration with researchers
- Produce software implementation to aid research, whether research prototypes or quick lead testing prototypes, in languages including Python, C++ and Matlab
- Implement and test ideas requiring AI and neural networks, with interactions with the Data science department, if required
- Document work in internal reports ; if appropriate, participate to scientific publications and patents
- Assisting the writing of specifications between departments
- Finalise research prototypes toward transfer to the company's product design and development department
**Responsibilities and authorities**:
- The Research engineer works under the responsibility of the Chief Scientific Officer.
**What about you ?**
**Technical skills**
- Knowledge and experience in programming languages (C++, Python, QML, Matlab),
- Knowledge and experience in software design and development including version-control management system,
- Knowledge in computer graphics and real-time video processing is a plus,
- Knowledge in computer vision techniques is a plus,
- Knowledge in learning methods (e.g. machine learning, deep learning) is a plus,
- Knowledge and compliance with the regulatory and quality standards,
- Oral and written technical English.
