Accounts Receivables Specialist, Collections

**The Opportunity**

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support our CPG France operations, with a focus on collections and invoicing. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong client relationships. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to resolve billing issues, uphold contract terms, and support accurate financial reporting. Fluency in French and a strong grasp of invoicing processes are essential for success in this position.
- Proactively manage collections for retail and CPG France by contacting clients through web tools and phone to efficiently resolve past-due accounts.
- Foster positive client relationships through clear, professional, and timely communication.
- Efficiently oversee the end-to-end invoicing and collections process, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant with client contracts and regional regulations.
- Review client contracts and generate invoices in accordance with agreed terms and billing requirements.
- Utilize system reports to identify clients and contracts requiring invoicing or follow-up.
- Identify, investigate, and coordinate resolution of billing disputes with relevant internal teams (sales, accounting, customer service).
- Ensure accurate tracking and updates of collection activities within the system.
- Detect potential disputes early and follow through to full resolution.
- Manage ad-hoc tasks and support additional finance initiatives as required.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, with a strong background in collections.
- In-depth knowledge of invoicing procedures, contractual billing terms, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience using web tools for collections and client communication.
- High level of integrity and adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting client relationships.
- Fluency in written and spoken French is required for regular interaction with French-speaking clients.

- Contract: This position is offered under a permanent employment contract (CDI)
- Remote work: Up to 3 days of remote work per week
