TITLE: Auditor
Comp: From $65,000-$75,000/yr
Location: Madison, IN
Responsibilities:
- Present internal audit findings to executive leadership and recommend actionable insights.
- Ensure all internal auditors are properly certified and up to date with required qualifications.
- Identify and propose enhancements to internal systems and processes.
- Document and maintain detailed meeting minutes for ISO Compliance and Risk Management committees.
- Align internal audit priorities with company performance indicators and strategic goals.
- Support ongoing risk management efforts and monitor the implementation of related initiatives.
- Participate in regular training to maintain certifications and stay current with regulatory changes.
- Develop and manage the annual budget for internal audit operations.
- Oversee the effectiveness of the internal audit system and implement continuous improvements.
- Conduct follow-up audits to verify the completion and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Coordinate internal and external ISO-14000 recertification audits.
- Perform annual C-TPAT assessments to ensure the security of imported goods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s or higher, preferably in business or engineering
- Previous experience running/implementing ISO or IATF audits.
- ISO and IATF knowledge (ISO 9001, 14001)
- Understanding of FMEA, control table, and other IATF core tools
