**KEY ACTIVITIES - ACCOUNTABILITIES**

The RD&I local specialist will be responsible for the support and delivery of innovation to Market, partnering with business partner (Marketing, QA, Legal, CD, ), insuring that R&D product information to consumer and customer is OTIF, compliant, maximizing superiority claim and execution.

The RD&I local specialist will support first line of compliance and maintain local knowledge of country product and packaging regulatory specific deviation.

RD&I local specialist is local championing role for R&D digital process / tools to market (insuring process improvements and digital IA transformation support), competition monitoring, tasting session, knowledge-based selling and product training to local business partner Marketing / CD / Sales.

The job holder would be based in the Country and will report to RD&I country cluster leader.

He will connect also with Regulatory EU Ice cream Leaders

1. Local Specifications Management
- Complete local specifications (CU-PIRD): Ensure timely and complete specifications for Ice Cream EU projects to enable digital data flow to customers before products reach the market.
- Input and review local technical data: Participate in the artworks process with the goal of zero noncompliance or market incidents.

2. Risk Assessment and Compliance
- Support the local golden triangle/duo (seconded to country set up) : Collaborate with legal partners and regulatory capabilities to risk assess claims, business requests (e.g., saleable trials), and review competitor challenges.

3. Business partnership - Customer and Sales Support
- Answering product & pack-related enquiries: Respond to enquiries from the careline and Sales (CD) using data available in local specifications (CU-PIRDS). Support country pack data process as needed in coordination with local business and RD&I design pack expert
- Adapting projects Q&As: Customize project Q&As for the local market to support CD-Sales needs.
- Translation/adaptation of KBS landing: Adapt and translate the selling story for the local market.

4. Process Improvement and Digital Transformation
- Identify improvements: Enhance processes for ice cream technical data management and support the digital transformation roadmap.
- Transition phase support: Assist with carry over and knowledge transfer during the separation process with peer colleagues (e.g. scoring nutrition digital check (nutriscore, HFSS,..), PLM-PIT data cleaning, PLM maintenance activities, pack logo sustainable process).

5. Technical Training and Competition Awareness

Technical voice in country: Provide local technology training to the CD team using R&D RDC material input.
