**Impact of a Tooling & Automation Intern**:
We're looking for a curious, resourceful intern to help level up our internal operations—making them smoother, smarter, and more transparent. You'll dive into projects like building dashboards, automating workflows, and connecting tools like Metabase, Linear, Slack, and Zendesk to help our team run at its best behind the scenes.

**Please note: This internship requires you to be based in Paris, France and legally authorized to work there.**
To ensure effective collaboration and hands-on mentorship, the role includes regular in-person time with team members in our Paris office.

**What to expect**:

- **Build meaningful dashboards**:Design and maintain Metabase dashboards that help teams access and interpret the metrics that matter most, using SQL and iterating based on feedback.
- **Automate workflows across tools**:Connect systems like Linear, Slack, and Zendesk to reduce manual work and improve visibility through automations and smart integrations.
- **Prototype internal tools**:Use lightweight tools - like Notion, Airtable, scripts, or no-code platforms - to explore and implement operational improvements.
- **Collaborate across teams**:Work with Support, Sales, Product, and Engineering to gather context, test solutions, and continuously improve internal operations.
- **Support smooth operations**: Help improve how we track progress, communicate across tools, and stay aligned as a team behind the scenes.
- **Grow through hands-on learning**:Gain real-world experience with mentorship, ownership, and the freedom to experiment and grow your skills.

**What you bring**:

- You're currently studying (or recently graduated from) a technical program — computer science, engineering, data, or a related field.
- You're comfortable with SQL and curious to dig into tools like Metabase.
- You like understanding how things work, spotting inefficiencies, and building solutions that make work smoother for others.
- You're collaborative, curious, and unafraid to ask questions or experiment with new ideas.

**Nice to have**:

- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, or basic scripting (e.g. JavaScript or Python).
- Built or contributed to internal tools or dashboards - school projects count
