Job Summary
The helicopter Engineer is responsible for the maintenance (line/base) of the AS365 N3 helicopters in Lanvéoc, reporting to the Chief Engineer and Maintenance Lead.
He/she is an indispensable link in carrying out aircraft maintenance together with the other engineers in the team to ensure the highest standard in maintenance following the regulations and NHV’s standard.
Respons. & areas
Key activities will include:
- Line & Base Maintenance, in compliance with the requirements as described in the regulations;
- Ensure all maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the BCAA/EASA and M.O.E. instructions;
- Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of a serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;
- Ensure, based on pilot & all other relevant information, daily problem analysis & problem solving;
- Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & support services that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on site at the planned moment;
- Participate in the daily morning Chief Engineer’s briefing (toolbox meeting);
- Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity;
Experience
- Preferably an EASA Part 66 B1.3 License
- Preferably minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation in a PART 145 environment
- Engineering experience in different aviation companies is a plus
- Type rated on AS365 is a plus
- **Skills**:
- ICT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office)
- Languages: French - English on professional level is a plus
- Good communication skills for debriefings, feedback and work handover moments
- Able to work independently when performing in a less controlled environment and to take initiative to improve work and complete tasks within appropriate time scales
- Logic thinking, a flexible mindset and the ability to work in a team
