Warehouse Coordinator

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for controlling the flow of materials, parts and tools for the site, providing an optimised service in relation to purchasing and stock control. The individual will report to a Deputy Site Manager, and will also be required to work closely with the 3rd party service and maintenance provider’s staff, who will have access to and store its own equipment within the warehouse.

**_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES_**:

- Comply with SPR and statutory HSE policies in relation to warehousing and logistics
- Comply with all Risk Assessment and Procedures in relation to warehousing and logistics activities
- Support the Deputy Site Manager in the development of associated warehousing and logístical contracts and agreements
- Feed into OpEx budget annual process, tracking of actual spends against budget
- Liaise regularly with Suppliers, Purchasing Department and Site O&M Team
- Responsible for receiving & checking material and plant deliveries and booking them into stock systems (SAP)

**_MAIN FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES_**:

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and associated external storage areas within the site.
- Manage and resolve a range of issues on logistics management and operational and administrative matters related to O&M arising on a day-to-day basis
- Successfully manage the expectations of the Deputy Site Managers about logistics and make recommendations (12 months planning ahead)
- Manage (1 week ahead) the availability of a wide range of spares
- Adhere to data submission and reporting schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc)
- Adapt quickly to a rapidly changing working environment and demonstrate a positive approach to change

**_REQUIREMENTS_**:
Educated to GCSE Level (A*- C grades in English and Maths) or relevant compensatory experience
- Previously involved in stock control and materials handling
- COSHH knowledge
- Fork lift truck experience
- Crane operation experience
- Previous experience working in the offshore wind industr
- French Bilingual
- English B1
