We have an exciting opportunity to join our Design team at the Beauty Tech Accelerator of Services. We are a team of more than 100 talented people creating consumer facing services that reach hundreds of millions of people. In our team, you'll get to explore, experiment, craft, and work together with other experts in their fields to deliver impactful services.
We are looking for a Design Lead to work at the intersection of Beauty and Tech, Coaching and Expertise. You'll work on our most exciting mobile-first digital products with top L'Oréal's brands. On a day to day, you'll work in cross-functional squads, with Product, Tech and more disciplines represented. We believe each lens is adding to the mix to create exceptional digital products.
**As a Product Design Lead, you will**:
Drive user-centered product strategy
- Lead user research from exploratory to tactical
- Shape product direction with insights
- Tell compelling stories that rally cross-functional teams around user needs and opportunities

Prototype, test and ship with confidence
- Facilitate ideation workshops translating insights into innovative solutions
- Move from low
- to high-fidelity prototypes to make concepts tangible
- Design intuitive flows and interactions
- Run design critiques, tests with users, iterate and improve to elevate the product and drive user engagement

Champion design craft and consistency
- Contribute to our Design system ensuring cohesion and efficiency across services
- Define and share Design principles
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies and new design methodologies to continuously elevate our design capabilities

Connect design to outcomes
- Define success metrics, track experience impact, and work closely with product and tech teams to ship work that drives business results

Lead through influence and coaching
- Guide other designers in your tribe, support team rituals, and grow a culture of design excellence through hands-on collaboration
- Articulate design rationale through user data and competitive benchmarks to influence product direction

**You'll stand out if**:

- You have a strong education in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- You have strong experience as a Product Designer with a portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, user impact, and competitive design excellence. You master your design process and know how to get from A to B within different contexts
- You are proficient with design tools such as Figma as these are our main tools on a day to day
- You are curious: when new technologies arise you experiment, play with them, explore the boundaries before giving your opinion. You are biased toward action
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design strategy and user insights in English to technical, non-technical, and executive stakeholders, using data to support design decisions
- You have previous experiences in design leadership or mentoring roles, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple strategic initiatives while maintaining focus on user experience quality and competitive advantage
- You have worked in agile environments and excel at cross-functional collaboration, bringing user insights and design thinking to product strategy discussions
