- The General Manager is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the Semiconductors Business Unit of Teledyne. This role requires a leader with deep industry knowledge, strong business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- In cooperation with an experienced team of Directors reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the business direction, ensuring alignment with its mission and values while achieving business goals.
- Drive product development / enhancement initiatives to stay ahead of industry and maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at reaching key business objectives, such as revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
- Oversee the division's budget, including forecasting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Complete appropriate capital expenditure requests and justify recommended investments accordingly
- Hire, train, develop, and provide leadership and mentoring to the local management team, putting in place suitable succession planning activities where needed
- Provide regular updates on the financial status and strategic progress to the Senior Management.
- Cultivate a team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and dedication.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events and meetings with government and regulatory bodies.
- Drive safety culture to ensure safe working environment for all employees

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Semiconductor business unit (around 250 employees) and the operational oversight of the legal entity in Grenoble with, approximately, 400 employees.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong understanding of aerospace industry, including its standards
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and quality metrics
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong financial acumen and business management capabilities
- Ability to build and maintain a high-performing team though employee engagement, coaching, and accountability
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally across site and larger corporate enterprise
