We work alongside project developers, owners, and engineering & construction firms to support the design, optimization, and construction of huge solar projects around the world. Our team is a blend of solar-industry veterans and novices, thought-leaders, dreamers, software, electrical and mechanical engineers, coders, product managers, project managers, sales and marketing professionals. Terabase Energy is a well-funded scale-up headquartered in Berkeley, California, with several other offices around the world, with the most recent one being launched in Paris.

Our Paris office hosts our core R&D team in charge of the development of our flagship product, Construct, a B2B SaaS construction management and quality control platform designed from the ground up for utility-scale solar projects. By combining GIS, AI/ML, IoT, and mobile technologies, the solution drives major improvements in safety, quality, cost, and schedule for the solar industry. Construct has supported more than 16+ GW of projects from leading owners and EPCs.

**The Role**

Ke**y Responsibilities**

Leadership & Team Rhythm
- Lead backlog refinement, planning sessions, daily team check-ins, and delivery retrospectives (or equivalent team rituals) with a focus on clarity, flow, and quality.
- Operate effectively within the chosen delivery methodology (Agile, Kanban, or hybrid), driving predictable outcomes.
- Continuously optimize workflows, throughput, and communication between teams.
- Adapt process and cadence to match the needs of both platform and feature delivery.

Execution & Delivery
- Manage the Construct backlog across features, platform services, and integrations.
- Prioritize work to balance new feature delivery, refactoring, and technical debt.
- Ensure all product increments are testable, measurable, and tied to clear delivery outcomes.
- Drive testing and release execution to ensure features land reliably and on schedule.

Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with the Product organization to align priorities, maintain team focus, and ensure delivery of high-value work.
- Collaborate daily with three engineering group leads:

- Platform & Applications: shared infrastructure, permissions, features and UX
- AI/ML: model integration, data flows, compute services
- Mobile: synchronization, offline workflows, features and UX
- Identify and clear cross-team dependencies before they block delivery.

Analysis & Communication
- Translate goals into measurable, delivery-focused outcomes.
- Use delivery data (e.g., how fast work is moving through the team) to help keep priorities realistic and on track.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and results clearly to technical and product leadership.
- Synthesize complex concepts into simple narratives for cross-functional audiences.

Product Definition & Validation
- Partner with design and data teams to validate needs and usability.
- Drive user acceptance tests to ensure quality and completeness before release.

What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months)
- Outcomes are predictable and measurable.
- Features and releases are tested, delivered, and deployed on schedule with high reliability.
- Communication between AI, Mobile, and Application teams is smooth and transparent.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience as Product Owner or Product Manager in a B2B SaaS or platform context.
- Strong delivery execution skills; experience driving complex multi-team delivery.
- Deep familiarity with modern delivery methodologies and the ability to work effectively within an established methodology.
- Excellent communication skills — French and English - structured, clear, and able to bridge technical and product contexts.
- Technical fluency: comfortable with APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.
- Proven experience managing multi-team dependencies in fast-moving environments.
- Experience with modern product delivery tools such as Linear, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Notion, or equivalents.
- Experience with IoT, drones, robotics, or AI infrastructure is highly valued.
- Familiarity with the solar or energy industry is a plus
