Marketing Operations Assistant

**Job Overview**:
The Marketing Operations Assistant role at Sirius Marketing Communications is a dynamic position that combines operational support, media planning, brand communications, and market intelligence. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of our clients' communications campaigns and contributing to our own brand's marketing strategy.

**Reports and duration**

The Marketing Operations Assistant will report directly to the 2 company co-founders. The position is for permanent employment.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Operations_

Assist with the day-to-day follow-up of our customers’ communications campaigns. This would include delivery of advertising material to the suppliers (publishers) and validation of proofs prior to live deployment, collecting proof of executions and performance statistics, advertisement resizing where necessary, managing errors, delays, and cancellations with the publishers.
- Media planning_

Help build the media plans for our customers and once validated, move on to negotiate contracts and issue purchase orders with the suppliers (publishers).
- Market intelligence_

Assist in the construction of our information systems with media pack data collection, processing and updating on our platform.
- Communications for our company brand_

Help with the creation and implementation of the company’s marketing communications strategy, revolving around the company website, LinkedIn, events and direct communications.

**Qualifications and skills**
- Degree level or higher (3 years post Baccalaureate) in Marketing or Business Administration. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role required.
- Excellent English level, written and spoken: CEFR level B2 minimum. Since most of our business is international, the majority of our day-to-day work is carried out in English. So, this is a decisive point.
- Good interpersonal skills, in person and over the phone.
- Robust sense of organisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media (primarily LinkedIn).
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

**Employment conditions**
- Permanent contract under French law, 35 hours a week.
- Work from our office in Montpellier. 2 days remote work possible per week (laptop provided by the company). Occasional travel for customer visits (2 or 3 times a year at most).
