Field Area Manager Heart Valve Transcatheter

Preferred locations are Paris, Bordeaux or Brittany

Manage a combined team of Field Clinical Specialists and Sales professional that support assigned products/activities, while ensuring optimal collaboration to achieve the best outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Lead a team and oversee sales activities related to Edwards devices and related procedures. Set goals and targets for all territories and team members as well as account plans for all accounts/ Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department including building and defining clear areas of responsibilities of the team
Define and lead the execution of commercial tactics for the given territory in alignment with the country strategies while achieving/exceeding commercial results and procedural excellence results
Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of projects and strategic activities which may include negotiations (e.g., tender strategy) with internal and external parties
Lead the team in adopting modern field execution processes as well as innovative commercial management tools and processes
Lead therapy development planning with insights and recommendations on better approach to therapy adoption expansion, and understanding of the gaps and barriers to therapy adoption in the region and its accounts
Build strong sustainable relationships with KOLs and customers to advance the education of activities related to therapy awareness, patient referral pathways and patient pathways in implanting centers. Optimize Field presence and Case coverage in partnership with the other Region Manager THV

**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's Degree in in related field extensive progressive sales experience Required and
Demonstrated successful track record of managing a team of sales employees Required and
extensive medical devices industry experience Required

**Additional Skills**:

- Deep and broad expertise of entire BU product portfolio, how it addresses customer needs and how it compares to competitor offerings
- In-depth understanding of BU strategy and business model, the competitive landscape and market environments of own territory/accounts
- Applies industry knowledge and sales experience to direct achievement of financial goals
- Expert understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business
