R&d Portfolio Analyst

**Main objectives**:
In this newly-created position, your role is to support the R&D Strategy execution in accordance with the business ambitions.

Under the supervision of the R&D Strategy and Portfolio director, within a multicultural supportive team which is result-oriented, you will contribute to:

- develop and monitor R&D KPI/Metrics to ensure effective utilization of R&D resources and alignment with portfolio strategy
- collaborate with R&D Breeding directors to translate the portfolio strategy into financial planning in the framework of the Business line context considering risk
- collaborate with Finance teams to ensure portfolio decisions are reflected into consistent financial flows, from budget building to actuals reports
- organize R&D portfolio reviews with associated stage progressions and resource allocation decisions for all portfolios
- develop portfolio performance metrics based on multiple and complex data, from different databases
- participate in supporting the analytical tools upgrades
- develop tailored reports for the R&D leadership using BI tools
- support the prioritization process with the Business lines Crop leads, breeding and marketing leadership teams for prioritization process
- identify gaps and opportunities to propose improvements of the end-to-end data-informed decision-making process

Business trips are required (France and Europe; 1 to 2 weeks per year out of Europe).

**Required profile**:
3 to 5 years in business analytics
At least 2 years of experience in a multicultural context and international company, an experience in portfolio project management is a plus

Demonstrated understanding of the strategic planning process;
Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling,

Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to work effectively in a complex and dealing with multiple internal stakeholders,

Knowledge of the vegetable seed industry will be a plus

**Required Competencies**:
M.Sc. level, data management/ analysis, finance, marketing or agriculture

Fluent English and French mandatory

Pro-active mindset and strong problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools (Power BI for example)

Strong attention to detail

**Working at HM.CLAUSE**:
You will be based in Maninet Station (Valence, Drôme, 26)
