**Job Description Summary**: The Regional Leader of the Cost Analysts will oversee all aspects of project cost management within the region, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost reporting for multiple large-scale projects. This role is critical to supporting project delivery teams in maintaining financial integrity and achieving project objectives. The role includes a team of cost analysts managing the on-going project portfolio in the region.

Le/La Responsable régional(e) des Analystes des coûts supervise tous les aspects de la gestion des coûts des projets dans la région, en veillant à la précision des prévisions et des rapports de coûts pour plusieurs projets de grande ampleur. Il s’agit d’un poste essentiel pour aider les équipes d’exécution de projet à maintenir l'intégrité financière du projet et à atteindre les objectifs fixés. Il met en œuvre une équipe d’analystes des coûts qui gère le portefeuille de projets en cours dans la région

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Lead the regional cost aligned function, establishing best practices and standards aligned with global strategy.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and provide early warnings of potential cost overruns or variances.
- Prepare and deliver regular cost reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates, procurement strategies, and contract administration processes.
- Mentor and manage a team of project cost analyst professionals across the region.
- Partner with senior leadership, project managers, and clients to ensure transparent and effective financial management.
- Implement continuous improvements to tools, systems, and processes for enhanced cost control.

**Required Qualifications**
- This role requires significant experience in the Project Management & Operations Leadership.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, finance, or related technical major or equivalent experience
- Proven detailed cost analytics experience
- Several years’ work experience
- Prior experience in people leadership
- Prior experience in change management & process definition

- Demonstrated clear thinking, inclusiveness, collaboration skills, and organization
- Cost out and/or Finance experience
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and other responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on available information
- Ability to support multiple internal customers and partners with competing priorities in a matrixed environment,
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), and influencing skills
- High say/do ratio
- Excellent interpersonal skills

**Rôles et responsabilités**
- Diriger le service régional de gestion des coûts en établissant de bonnes pratiques et des normes basées sur la stratégie mondiale
- Surveiller les coûts des projets par rapport aux budgets fixés et signaler rapidement les dépassements de coût et les écarts potentiels
- Préparer et fournir régulièrement des rapports sur les coûts et des présentations aux parties prenantes internes et externes
- Participer à la préparation des estimations de coûts, des stratégies d'achat et des processus d'administration des contrats
- Encadrer et gérer une équipe professionnelle d’analystes des coûts des projets dans toute la région
- Collaborer avec la haute direction, les chefs de projet et les clients pour garantir la transparence et l’efficacité de la gestion financière
- Mettre en œuvre l’amélioration continue des outils, des systèmes et des processus pour améliorer le contrôle des coûts

**Qualifications requises**
- Ce poste requiert une expérience significative dans les domaines de la gestion de projets et des opérations
- Niveau de connaissance comparable à un niveau BAC+5 dans une université ou un établissement d'enseignement supérieur agréé(e), en ingénierie, en finance ou dans un domaine technique, ou expérience équivalente
- Expérience reconnue de l'analyse détaillée des coûts
- Plusieurs années d'expérience professionnelle
- Expérience préalable de l’encadrement
- Expérience préalable de la gestion du changement et de la définition de processus

**Qualifications souhaitées**
- Expérience dans de multiples services tels que l'ingénierie, les achats, la production, les projets, etc.
- Esprit d’analyse et de synthèse, comportement inclusif, aptitudes à la collaboration et sens de l’organisation
- Expérience dans le domaine de la finance et/ou de la réduction des coûts
- Capacité avérée à gérer simultanément des projets multiples et d’autres responsabilités, à s’adapter à l’évolution des priorités et à prendre des décisions avec rapidité et précision sur la base des informations disponibles
