Customer Finance Manager France

You will work in close collaboration with other Customer Finance teams and Customer Service.

As a Customer Finance Manager you will be part of the Customer Finance Leadership team.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Collections & disputes:_
- Monitor and deliver on DSO and ageing targets
- Define and drive action plans where needed, in close collaboration with other stakeholders (Customer Service, BDPS, European Credit Control team, EUSSC collections team, )
- Maintain and review current collections processes and controls to protect company assets and to mitigate exposure, while also maximizing cash collections
- Provide input for monthly / quarterly reporting for internal stakeholders
- Provide input for DSO budgets/projection, bad debts, Write off
- Organizing and Participating in Customer visits where deemed required
- Work in close collaboration with Treasury on factoring opportunities
- Bad debt/P&L Impact:_
- Bad debt follow up (statutory and US GAAP) _Credit Control:_
- Identifying/propose solutions to limit credit exposures in close collaboration with European Credit Control team
- People Management:_
- Manage and oversee a French Collections team, and their daily activities
- Develop & Coach your team in identified areas with the goal to improve and streamline existing processes
- Support the team with certain process issues
- Resolve and manage staff issues and technical problems
- Analyze complex business problems and assist / support team with viable solutions and recommendations
- Stakeholder Management:_
- Ensure monthly / quarterly calls with internal stakeholders are held to review the figures
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders (Customer Service, BDPS, Credit Control team, EUSSC collections team, ) to guarantee customer focus and meet Customer Finance targets
- Communicate and collaborate with internal business partners and customers regarding invoicing disputes/adjustment requirements, contractual terms matters, etc.
- Compliance:_
- Policy compliance including users training and Internal control regarding Business compliance; Making recommendations about procedural/policy changes
- Financial credit note and invoice approvals per the Local Policy
- Reviewing government legislation changes and advising on Legal compliance regarding General Sales Conditions for PS and Other businesses and regarding Invoice compliance including invoice discount factor;
- Provide information to internal and external audit when required
- Process & projects:_
- Ensure yearly credit limit reviews are done
- Lead or support special projects
- Drive continuous process improvements, define implement standardized and optimized workflows to support Finance and collections’ processes

**Profile & competencies**:

- Experience in AR and collections/Customer oriented
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Strong project management skills
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently and effectively communicate and partner with all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage priorities and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in English
- Experience in ERP, MS Office tools
- Knowledge on legal procedures regarding customers
- People Management skills
