Internship Description

New Tales is looking for a talented and motivated Marketing & Communication Trainee (F/M) to join our Publishing team This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop editorial skills in the gaming industry by working across multiple content formats.
In this role, you will report to both the Digital Marketing and the Communications Team, ensuring that all editorial content aligns with New Tales' publishing and community strategies. You will be involved in crafting compelling narratives that engage our audience and support our marketing and brand positioning efforts.
If you're passionate about writing, storytelling, and the gaming industry, this internship will allow you to sharpen your editorial skills while working in a dynamic and creative environment.

**WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT ?**:

- Craft compelling narratives across blogs, newsletters, website copy, and social media to engage our audience and amplify our brand.
- Shape and refine our editorial voice, ensuring consistency across all channels while staying fresh and relevant.
- Uncover stories worth telling, researching industry trends, player insights, and creative angles that bring our games and community to life.
- Collaborate across teams (Communications, Marketing, Community, Brand and more) to align content with broader publishing and engagement strategies.
- Optimize for impact, learning from data, audience feedback, and best practices to continuously refine content for greater reach and engagement.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong command of English (French is a plus).
- Passion for storytelling and a good understanding of digital content best practices.
- Interest in video games, entertainment, and geek culture.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple writing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with an eagerness to propose and develop fresh editorial ideas.

**WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED ?**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to write in different tones and styles.
- A team-oriented spirit with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn from feedback.
- Adaptability and ability to switch between long-form content (blogs, newsletters) and short-form content (social media, headlines).

Additional Information
- 6 months internship ideally from October 2025
- 1 paid leave per month fully worked (in case of 6 months internship only)
- Meal vouchers, 50% refund on transportation card
- Remote-friendly environment (hybrid policy, full remote is not accepted)
