**Where would you fit in the team?**

The Bid Manager position is a global role, working closely with our international sales team to provide support for large deals, managing complex RFI/RFPs to help drive deals forward. The Bid Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposals meet prospect needs and align with our business objectives. Expertise in proposal writing and project management will be essential in contributing to the growth and market positioning of SpendHQ.

**What does the job entail?**
- RFP Management: Oversee the end-to-end RFI/RFP process, including review, analysis, and response preparation for RFX events received from clients and prospects. This includes ensuring the timely submission of high-quality proposals that meet prospect and client requirements.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling, tailor-made proposals that effectively communicate SpendHQ’s value propositions, addressing specific client needs and requirements.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to understand competitor offerings and industry trends to inform bid strategy and incorporate findings into winning proposal strategies.
- Process Ownership: Develop and implement best practices for RFX responses and own the end-to-end process, including developing process improvement initiatives. Monitor and evaluate bid performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Content Ownership: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of compete, accurate, and up to date answers to the most common RFX questions. Develop compelling and persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, and technical responses.
- Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid files, records of communication, and pricing information.
- Prospect Interaction: Engage with prospects to clarify requirements and gather feedback on proposal submissions, fostering strong relationships throughout the RFX process.
- Content Writing: As time permits, the Bid Manager will contribute writing and editing various types of documents representing SpendHQ’s offering, both internal (enablement of the different teams) and external (marketing usage).

**What skills and experience should you have?**
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, supply chain, or a related field
- Direct experience in RFX management and proposal writing targeting Fortune 500 Global multinational companies in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Excellent English language written communication and editing skills, and the ability to consolidate excerpts from multiple sources and edit to one consistent voice
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to make connections and build relationships with prospects
- Strong project management skills, including the capacity to manage multiple deliverables and priorities at the same time
- Ability to be proactive and solve problems with mínimal oversight
- A software background or the ability to learn tools quickly
- Familiarity with the procurement technology landscape and the procurement industry
- A team player mentality and willingness to help colleagues and collaborate across teams
- Attention to detail
- Interest in sales, marketing, AI and data analytics, and learning new skills
- Control of the English language is a must - French, German, Dutch languages are a plus
