Head of Information Technology Emea-apac

Reporting to the VP Operations, the Head of Information Technology will be responsible for providing vision and leadership to develop, maintain and utilize information technology resources that support the company objective of profitable growth in a highly competitive environment and to transform decision making and business processes through information and systems.

**Essential Functions**:

- Provide leadership and guidance on information technology strategies and solutions that create a competitive advantage.
- Provide internal client groups with information technology solutions that are responsive to their needs, meeting expectations on projects, timetables, service levels and budgets.
- Participate as a member of the senior leadership team in the strategic planning process, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems and the value they bring to business processes to create competitive advantage.
- Ensure the integrity and security of data and systems including appropriate contingency and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure the compliance of the IT solutions with the applicable regulations
- Provide functional leadership for all information technology systems globally, balancing the needs of individual business units, functions, and regions with the need to leverage I.T. resources towards the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Sustain a best-in-class information technology function that attracts and retains high talent individuals.
- Build strong relationships across the organization, particularly with key business unit and functional heads, to gain buy-in and commitment for corporate information technology initiatives.
- Ensure that all required training is identified for and completed by all direct reports.
- Evaluate sta'ing needs and costs; identifies, hires and promotes individuals with the right skills and competencies necessary to achieve superior results.
- Develop a team environment that values diversity and uses various individual’s strengths to the benefit of the team.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree preferably in business, systems engineering, or information technology, isrequired; advanced degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Operations Research (or other related field) desirable. Continuing education and professional development in the field of information technology to maintain state of the art knowledge is required.
- Strong technical knowledge of all relevant hardware, software, telecommunications and network requirements to manage the information technology function of a global business.
- Track record of delivering value through relevant management and modelling of data.
- Highly e'ective communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate the intent and value of programs; ability to sell ideas and build strong cross
- functional relationships.
