- About the position

Our French studio located in Cergy is specialized in co-development on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms, and contributed to Batman - Return to Arkham (2016), L.A. Noire : The V.R. Case Files (2017), Vampyr (2018), Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered (2019), The Outer Worlds (2019), Marvel's Avengers (2020) and Horizon Zero Dawn : Complete Edition (2020).
- Responsibilities
As a System Designer, you will collaborate with different developers from other studios to deliver the best user experience, following the game’s creative direction. You will also be responsible for the progression, economic and player’s character systems.
**Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and balance game systems.
- Build systems such as player's level, abilities, equipment etc. And any other progression system related to player's progression.
- Design gameplay on paper, in a succinct and easy to understand format, in line with the game’s vision.
- Carry out all of the adjustments so as to facilitate game system control and understanding.
- Expand or subtract from existing gameplay features, according to the scope of the game.
- Provide balancing documents and tweak the game in-engine.
- Qualifications
- **Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience on designing game systems and player progression systems
- Unreal engine or blueprint scripting skills are required;
- Excellent communicator (spoken and written); English is mandatory.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Game balancing skills

- Ability to adapt and use to their maximum given tools;
- Adaptability to change, be it design ingredients or project rescoping;
- Attention to details, thoroughness in development and documentation;
- Efficient and autonomous.
