**Your Role**

As a key backend software engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping our backend ecosystem. Dive into a diverse set of responsibilities:
Design robust backend services, prioritizing scalability, reliability, quality, and security.

Develop & optimize backend features (e.g. REST-APIs) utilizing NestJS, SQL, Elasticsearch, MQTT, among others.

Uphold quality with automated testing.

Manage & optimize databases ensuring peak performance.

Collaborate with the infrastructure team on cloud deployments.

Proactively monitor system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Spearhead internal process improvements by developing tools and closely monitoring metrics.

Stay ahead by embracing new technologies and industry best practices.

**Your Expertise**

A university degree (e.g., Ms in Computer Sciences) and a solid track record of 5+ years in backend development.

Proficiency in crafting backend services, such as REST-APIs, using cutting-edge technologies.

Hands-on experience in database management.

Proficiency in Docker and ideally Kubernetes.

Prior work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
