Internship localisation Qualcomm France design Center WTC 1090 route des crêtes 06560 Sophia-Antipolis Duration 6 months Background Particularly in the diversity path teams, we focus on developing very small filter components to optimise efficiency and cost. The target up to now has been to develop structure which have a very small footprint. We have developed many structures to achieve those goals, have patented some and are still doing research and development of software and design technic to enable the smallest possible size and best efficiency. Goal of the internship The goal of the internship will be to understand and summarise how these very compact structures are done in Qualcomm and to compare to state-of-the-art data. Then the target will be to investigate many structures variant of those compact structures, to analyse simulation data and show trends and if possible, develop home-made script and software to try various combination of design parameters and layout to achieve smallest size and best performance. If time allows it, a multivariant mask could be manufactured, RF measurement performed and possibly power measurement. Comparison between measurement and simulation and explanation of the difference would be very good. Skills requirement - Knowledge in RF electronics. - Software development experience preferably using AWR microwave office, Python/Matlab. - Project management/ good timing scheduling ability. - Good communication skills to communicate with our local teams and also abroad.-here for assistance.
