FLYING WHALES has formed a consortium to design, build on three continents and operate worldwide a fleet of LCA60T airships capable of loading and unloading up to 60 tons of cargo (wood, wind turbine blades, containers, mobile hospital, etc.) in hover flight, with a particularly low environmental footprint. **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

As part of our organic growth in France and abroad, we are recruiting an **AIRWORTHINESS ENGINEER- FLIGHT HANDLING QUALITIES**.

**Mission**:
**YOUR MISSIONS**:
Within this department and under the management of the Director of office of airworthiness and safety, you will act as flight handling qualities focal point for the LCA60T certification and will liaise with corresponding EASA and TCCA experts. On this perimeter, you will pilot the type certification of our airship, from the familiarization phase to the compliance demonstration phase in order to receive the EASA type certificate with its validation by TCCA. Therefore, on the flight handling qualities perimeter (EASA panel 01):

- You will ensure that our airworthiness authorities are familiarized (meeting organization, pedagogy while presenting and explaining, actions follow-up, answer to Certification Action Items )
- You will be in charge of monitoring our certification basis is established and maintained up to date
- You will establish the certification program of the LCA60T by defining with CVE and the technical directorate our compliance demonstration strategy. You will need to pay particular attention to the way of presenting these strategies to our certification authorities to make them easy to understand.
- You will follow the compliance demonstration.

**Profile**:
**YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES**:

- Education : engineering grade or equivalent Master Degree
- Previous experience : at least 7 years of experience in a similar role or in the flight handling of aeroplanes/rotorcraft.

**YOUR COMPETENCIES**:

- You are familiar with the aircraft type certification process.
- Extensive experience in a product certification process is a plus.
- Handling qualities
- Certification processes (Part 21, Certification Specification, etc.)
- A very good english is required.
