**About the Role** We are seeking a motivated, curious and self-starter work-study intern to join our Indirect Procurement Team to help us to accelerate the standardization & digitalization of our procurement processes and to increase our contribution to the business objectives with enhancing our vendors management and in fine our short and long term deliveries. This role provides hands-on experience in procurement, covering step by step all areas a buyer need to understand and get grip on to be able to deliver and contribute to the company objectives achievement **Main Responsibilities**: **Handle, improve and digitalize P2P and SLP operations** - Improve and secure efficient implementation of Ariba SLP solution - handle supplier registrations and master data updates - Investigate, and implement operational improvement to the process and the organization - Secure documentation and communication to all stakeholders. - Contribute to full deployment of Ariba Mybuy solutions - Operational support to site buyers and users in order administration - Continuous improvement work with business process teams - Support teams in migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA - Contribute to supplier master data update and maintenance - Contribute to implementation of new legal and environmental requirements **Create short - and long-term value and TCO cost reduction** - Identify and drive site cost reduction opportunities together with different stakeholders within the site. - Contribute with the hub manager and other buyers to generate strategic options based on insights covering full set of value levers including, commercial action, technical optimization, supply chain and process optimization. - Collaborate with the site to align the spend with the designated or preferred suppliers for Indirect category. **Planning and executing Rfx and supplier relationship management** - Propose of RFx plan for your scope and ensure alignment with hub manager - Execute RFx and propose award decision in compliance with Ahlstrom contract approval policy. - Establish contractual document involving Procurement Legal Business Partner and any other relevant stakeholders. - Communicate to internal stakeholder about final result (supplier awarded, new commercial terms / price list ) - Implement negotiated agreements - Manage supplier claims as well as supplier evaluations of the plant according to Ahlstrom tools and procedures for Direct Materials and services suppliers performing key activities in the plant. - Give feedback on supplier performance and contract compliance to the category managers regularly. - Monitor supplier performance and define supplier development plans when appropriate. **Price and condition management** - Secure and monitor contract compliance for site specifics raw materials, packaging, and main indirect categories. **Processes support** - Contribute to the development of procurement operations, processes, and procedures within the sites to secure good quality sustainable supply - Engage and motivate site to operate according to procurement policies, processes, and procedures - Support audits (ISO, financial, internal,) for procurement in your scope **Projects** - Support and implement best practice in sourcing of Capex investments
