We are currently looking for a technician for our FCS (Field Customer Service) function located in the North-East of France. You will work as a team with competent salespeople. You have direct contact with the customer and the seller. The role of a technician is very sociable and your duties will cover a wide area such as laboratory scale evaluations/support and large scale experiments for optimization of different input chemicals, optimization of water treatment, process mapping, basic equipment maintenance, chemical filling and much more.

The service covers travel within France, mainly in the immediate region. Depending on the current project, overnight stays elsewhere may also be relevant.

**Main job role**:

- Respond to routine inquiries from the organization's sales force or customers on technical aspects of the organization's products and services.
- Develop skills and knowledge of the organization's products and services by working closely with a more experienced specialist or member of a sales team.

**What you need**:

- BAC+2, Diploma equivalent to BTS/DUT with a focus on chemistry or papermaking and/or a strong background in working with process chemicals/laboratory work.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages/SAP
- Ability to work creatively and constructively as well as willing to take responsibilities, flexibility and good collaboration skills
- Motivation and ability to solve problems and has an area of competence that covers both practice and theory
- Fluen in English (TOEC B2)
- Fluent French speaking
- Driver license (B category)

The preferred location for this position is North East France and the person will work remotely from home
