Our journey began in 2019 with Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud as our founders. Today we are a global leader in carbon accounting, we’re B-corp certified and a recognised member of the French Tech 120.

Greenly supports over 3,000 companies across more than 20 countries to measure their carbon footprint (through carbon assessment and life cycle analyses), reduce their emissions (SBTi trajectory and action plan quantification), and comply with new regulations (CSRD, CBAM, ISSB).

We are a team of 270 people from 38 nationalities based in Paris, London, Barcelona and New York, which allows us to strengthen our international presence.

Today, our impact is measured in tons of carbon under management, with over 110 million tons of CO2 tracked through our platform. Our next milestone : serving 10,000 clients and managing one billion tons of CO2 to make carbon management as essential as financial management.

**About the role**:
Product Engineering Interns at Greenly work within our Product team, whose goals include providing clear and valuable insights to help companies understand their emissions and develop effective climate strategies for reduction.

In particular, the team is in charge of features development across the platform, promoting the improvement of the climate strategy for client. Aligned with our values of minimizing the impact of client, we try to advance key element like certifications, reduction actions and life-cycle assessment. The team is really strategical for the company, working with all other team to help them by releasing key features.

You will work from end-to-end on the production of new functionalities: from the conception of a feature based on the users needs, to the delivery in production and finally the continuous improvement of the UX/UI and core functionalities from the user feedbacks.

You will hence be able to bring your own ideas and have a concrete impact on the live platform.

Being at the core of the features and the functionalities of a SAAS scale-up, you will discover all the tricks to power a successful start-up/scale-up.

Finally, you will be part of an audacious, talented and ecologically aware team of engineers fighting climate change.

**Your day-to-day in this internship**:
- **Developing new functionalities for Greenly's platforms**
- This means developing new functionalities from the technical specifications elaborated by the team to the release on production. Of course, you need to write maintainable, readable and testable quality code.
- But also learn new skills every day to become a seasoned software engineer by the end of your internship and become an asset for the team, the company, and the fight against climate change.
- **Create and maintain workflows**
- Using technologies like hubspot workflow and Retool workflow, you will have to automatise process and ensure that they are working well.
- **Work with your team lead on the strategy of the team**
- As you gain confidence in our codebase and our product, you will acquire more ownership of the functionalities and will be able to deepen your collaboration with product owners, designers, and other teams to gather requirements and refine product specifications.

**Skills and traits necessary to succeed for either role**:
- **Have solid software development skills** You are familiar with Python and SQL. JavaScript / TypeScript, and knowledge of the react framework are a plus
- **Product Management**skills / experience would be great bonus points for this role.
- **Have an interest in fast-growth** : You are a quick learner and love agility. You want to learn new skills and you are not afraid of going outside your comfort zone.
