ABOUT GENERATOR PARIS

Hip galleries. Boutique shops. Pastoral cafés. Canal St. Martin in the 10th Arrondissement is everything you’d expect from the French capital, but with more than its fair share of contemporary cool.
Standing opposite Oscar Niemeyer’s iconic French Communist Headquarters, Generator Paris is just a few steps from Canal Saint-Martin and Buttes-Chaumont Park and only a 15-minute stroll from Gare du Nord train station. With a welcoming mix of cinematic design, rich colours, a sparkling reception and several unique social spaces to suit your mood, you’ll feel like you’re on the set of a Parisian art-house movie.

On the hostel’s ground floor you'll find Café Fabien with its canteen and conservatory overlooking the garden. A curved staircase leads down to the vaulted ceilings of Le Club, inspired by the Paris Metro. Head up to the 9th floor to discover Khayma Rooftop, with a canopy, bar and awe-inspiring views of Sacré-Cœur and Montmartre. Our Paris hostel represents the very best of Paris, all under one roof.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
- Report to the F&B Supervisor/Manager
- Be assigned to a department, either Bar, Café or Kitchen, but you may cross over to other outlets temporarily or permanently depending on your skills, ambitions and business requirements
- Have sound knowledge and experience working with great coffee and food with the courage to offer something a little different to the Generator guest
- Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Generator experience.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all customer requests and enquiries, ensuring that you maintain a “can do” attitude at all times
- Ensure you comply with all company policies you have been trained on, which include Fire Training and Health & Safety and
- Food Hygiene
- Be responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty
- Be part of a great team within your department that get Generator and want to be themselves
- Know your customers like you know your friends

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE
- Experience working within the hospitality/service industry
- A passion for your city, for travelling and for trending food and drinks concepts
- Knowledge of contemporary interests and the city
- Have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for service
