Our experienced team of professionals offer multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental management and permitting. The Environment Group forms part of the wider Genesis Advisory and where required, our environmental professionals have access to over 800 multi-discipline engineers internationally (and extensive further support through the wider Technip Energies group).

**What we are looking for**

Due to a busy and diverse project portfolio we are looking for professionals with experience which combines the technical challenges of delivering energy projects with carbon management. If you are passionate about the Energy Transition and enjoy a fast-paced working environment, then we would love to hear from you.

We are working with our clients to manage the carbon intensity of energy provision as the Energy Transition gathers pace. These new challenges are driving even closer collaboration between the engineering and environmental teams in Genesis and we are growing our existing team to support these exciting projects. You will support environmental assessments and studies for a variety of projects in the UK and overseas with a particular focus on energy efficiency, emissions trading scheme compliance, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, and de-carbonisation

The team provides a wide variety of environmental consulting, typical responsibilities include:

- Identify and assess opportunities for de-carbonisation including energy efficiency measures, flare management, methane reduction and renewable energy options.
- Characterisation, quantification, and forecasting of energy sector emissions and discharges.
- Review of engineering design documentation and drawings in support of environmental studies.
- Undertake carbon footprint assessments following the GHG Protocol.
- Identification and interpretation of relevant regulations and standards.
- Provision of environmental engineering technical and compliance advice.
- Input to HAZID/ENVID reviews and multi-discipline engineering projects.
- Interaction with clients to ensure delivery of requirements to agreed scope, schedule and budget.

**Required Skills**:
We want to hear from people that have
- University degree qualified in engineering or science.
- Experience in the energy industry or of carbon management.
- Knowledge of industrial emissions legislation and the EU and / or Global Emission s Trading Scheme.
- Knowledge of international green certification schemes
- Knowledge of environmental engineering techniques and solutions (pollution control and mitigation).
- Strong time-management, planning and organisational abilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Excellent written skills, with good attention to detail.
- Fluent English speaker, with French language skills an added advantage
- Strong team player.
- the ability to work to tight deadlines and be self-motivated.
- Ability to think innovatively.
- Commercial awareness.
