YOUR ROLE
You work in the Technical Expertise department of CMA Ships as an Expert on 2-stroke engines. In this context, you:
Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
Provide expertise support in your field of competences to the fleets and ships
Propose solutions to optimize vessels’ maintenance, design and operation
Ensure technical communication outside CMA CGM to promote the technical skills of the CMA CGM group
You may represent the Company in various meetings, conferences, public institutions, etc
Closely work with R&D department of our suppliers for improvement
Accumulate and share the experience across the fleets
Prepare information and feedbacks to the fleets
Know the supplier network and establish a good relation between societies
Establish medium and long term strategy
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
Master’s degree in engineering
At least 5 years' experience in the maritime industry on 2-Stroke Engines related topics
Management or Project management skills
Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Analytical skills
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
Fluent in English.
