Internship - General Accountant / Financial

CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state-of-the-art cargo aircraft. As part of its development, CMA CGM Air Cargo is looking for an intern to join the finance department. Reporting to the Chief Accountant of CMA CGM Air Cargo, you will participate and be committed to ensuring the proper management of financial information within the CMA CGM Air Cargo air division. This involves handling day-to-day operations of statutory accounts, IFRS adjustments related to group consolidation, as well as providing support to the Air Cargo controlling teams. You will also be involved in addressing cross-functional issues for the needs of the CMA CGM group in collaboration with various team members from the finance/tax department. **1. Actively participate in monthly closing processes**: Assisting in the preparation of accounting and financial reports for the group's financial management. Performing IFRS adjustments in coordination with the group's support services. Working with management control, generating monthly provisions related to structural costs. Supporting the Chief Accountant in preparing the monthly accounting income statement. **2. Management of third-party accounting**: Handling supplier payments considering the specifics of the aviation environment. Contributing to customer invoicing. 3. Assisting the Chief Accountant in reconciling accounting and management results. 4. Supporting the Chief Accountant in preparing and standardizing legal accounting documents (annual balance sheet, income statement, annexes), as well as in auditing the accounts. 5. Participation in processing various taxes related to the CMA CGM Air Cargo fiscal calendar. PROFILE AND SKILLS Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance/Accounting, you should have a proficiency in EXCEL and a decent command of operational English.
