As we expand our footprint across Europe, we are looking for a seasoned professional to develop and oversee the operations of our European platform, ensuring seamless deployment and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the Goodman European Chief Executive Officer Europe, the Operations Director Data Centres will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Goodman Data Centres’ European portfolio. This executive position is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring reliable infrastructure management, and scaling our data centre operations across European markets.

**Your key responsibilities are**:
**Strategic Leadership**
- Develop and execute the operational strategy for Goodman's European data centre portfolio, aligning with global business objectives and local market requirements
- Build and lead (a) a European leadership team and (b) high-performing teams across multiple European locations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the Data Centre executive team to identify growth opportunities and drive strategic initiatives in the European market

**Operational Excellence**
- Ensure consistent delivery of world-class data centre operations, maintaining industry-leading uptime and reliability standards across all European facilities
- Establish and optimize operational processes, procedures, and standards to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Develop and implement emergency response protocols
- Oversee critical infrastructure management, including power, cooling, security, and connectivity systems
- Develop and direct the implementation of preventive and reactive maintenance programs

**Business Development & Client Relations**
- Partner with sales and client success teams to support business development initiatives and ensure operational readiness for new client deployments
- Maintain strategic relationships with key clients, vendors, and industry partners
- Work closely with Sales and Commercial teams to support customer acquisitions, technical requirements validation, and successful client onboarding

**Financial Management**
- Lead the budgeting process for European operations, setting financial targets and optimizing resource allocation to support strategic objectives
- Manage the operational budgets. Monitor and control operational costs, identifying opportunities for savings without compromising service excellence
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance. Provide regular budgetary reports and forecasts to executive leadership, ensuring full transparency and accountability

**Risk Management, Compliance, and Business Continuity Planning**
- Implement a risk management framework to proactively identify and assess operational risks. Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize likelihood impact and ensure seamless business continuity
- Develop, implement, and regularly update disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP) to ensure the resilience of data centre operations in the face of unforeseen events
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, integrating these into the risk management processes

**Team Recruitment and Management**
- Recruit, lead, and motivate a team of data centre professionals, promoting collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
- Establish clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and develop / implement training programs to build a world-class data centre operations team.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence and inclusivity, empowering team members to reach their full potential.

**Customer Account Management**
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for key customer accounts across Europe, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with client needs and expectations.
- Regularly communicate with customers to provide updates on operational performance, address any issues proactively, and capture feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure customer SLAs and KPIs are consistently met, identifying and implementing solutions to enhance service delivery.

- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with Goodman's environmental commitmen
