Piping Engineer

ADC Recursos Humanos is looking for a Piping Engineer, for a project located in Saint-Paul-lez-Durance (Cadarache Nuclear Power plant).

Our client is part of the main group of the engineering and construction sector. It operates in more than 40 countries and it is considered one of the top international firms of engineering and project management of Power generation, nuclear, oil & gas and renewables energy.

**Main responsabilities**:
Within the Engineering and configuration control of ITER:

- Analysis of client input data: typically isometric and piping supports´ drawings, equipment lists. Target to check input is ok to go for prefabrication and later installation.
- Check of feasibility of prefabrication and constructability.
- Analyze the updated input data coming from the client, and its impact in the prefabrication/installation.
- Perform spooling in red mark-up as input for preparation team, based on IO input drawings (both isometrics and supports).
- Feed up the technical issue log register, with technical issues to be clarified with the client following the input data analysis.
- Knowledge on defining pressure loops tests.
- Support the engineering manager ADHOC in the technical meetings with the client, under request.
- Prepare field change request modifications in the drawings for the client approval, in IO system.
- Partial support for configuration management (analysis of technical requirements deviations).

**Qualification**:

- Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
- Knowledge of design codes and nuclear regulations.
- At least 5 years’ experience in piping isometrics verification and piping supports verification.
- Field technical office experience, in nuclear power plants preferable.
- Experience working in international projects and changing environments is a plus.
- Office pack, especially Excel for crossing big data. 3D model viewer
- English (mandatory) and French (a desirable)
- Open minded and collaborative approach
