Sybase Expert

Pour une grande entreprise d'Assurance, nous recherchons un Expert Sybase.

Within the Middleware & Databases Team, he/she takes in charge all SYBASE environment (ASE & REPSERVER) : Infrastructure management / Technical Projects / Architecture and Design. His/her duties is to be force of proposal for Assistance for the Project Team, Migration to the next version and to the Cloud with strong knowledges and experiences on:

- ASE Administration, Performance & tuning
- REPSERVER Administration, Performance & tuning
- Clustering Solution (HACMP, VMWARE Stretched Clusters)
- AIX OS
- LINUX OS
- LifeCycling Databases and infrastructure
- Knowledge of ORACLE, SQL SERVER and POSTGRESQL would be a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- working closely with our offshore SYBASE administration teams, based in India, responsible for the RUN, and other competence center services accross Europe.
- support them providing third level SYBASE expertise.
- be involved in the transversal taskforce with analytical and abstract reasoning skills
- manage all the technical procedures & documentations related to ASE & REPSERVER Infrastructure, best practices, reporting on issues.
- Maintain the activity, service and time frames, status reports.
- be involved in evolution's projects

College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must (French and English).
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors and management and Excellent Adaptive capacity.
Solving skills and Organizational skills to solve incident.
Managing meetings with stakeholders.
Very good relational, dynamic, responsive, business service.
Very good editorial.
Ability to work as a team.
