At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for a **Fabrication Package Engineer (M/F)** **who can join our multicultural team in Paris.

**Job description**

You will be responsible for the monitoring, progress and delivery of fabrication items such as Rigid spools and jumpers, mudmats, piles, ILS, installation aids or others subsea structures. Depending of the fabrication scope and project execution plan, you will report to the PM, PDM. During operation and fabrication stage, you will be responsible of the fabrication onsite at subcontractors premises or on Yard. Accountable for the delivery of your fabrication scope, you are also responsible to provide relevant inputs to the PM/PDM for the preparation of all Variation Orders to Company and Suppliers related partly or fully to your scope.

**Your essential Duties will be to**:

- Ensure that the fabrication scope is planned and organized in accordance with established procedures, and that necessary resources are available
- Ensure that compliance with requirements relating to safety, quality and profitability is achieved
- Evaluate risks, establish and monitor mitigation plan
- Ensure that all technical and engineering aspects of the Project are in accordance with contract requirements
- Monitor all project interfaces with other parties and be responsible for the coordination with fabrication yard(s).
- Ensure that supplier/sub-contractor evaluation, selection is done in accordance with established and approved Project procedures
- Identify in due time the scope change and notify Project Manager/Project Delivery Manager
- Coordinate price & schedule impacts preparation of change order and further integration in the base case scope of work. Incorporate Change order in scope of work & manage modifications requested by Company.
- Assist for the preparation of close-Out report to enable submission as soon as possible after project completion
- Eventually to be part of the site team dedicated to the fabrication
- Follow-up of site team dedicated to the fabrication
- Write fabrication and specifications procedure in line with contractual document and scope of work
- Issue Material Requisition and assist Supply Chain for the technical review of offers
- Reply to Client Comments
- Provide technical support for requisition at each stage of the fabrication phase.
- Attend the Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM) at Supplier Workshop for critical activities such as qualification program.
- Perform technical survey visit at Workshop, technical audits to assess Subcontractor’s capabilities /equipment / manufacturing process if require in support of GSP and QCS
- Technical assistance for NCR closure
- Review Vendor/Sub-contractor documents considering schedule constraints (Welding Books, NDE Procedures, qualification procedures.)
- Develop, capitalize, consolidate and share know-how/knowledge of the fabrication Discipline.

**You are meant for this job if**
- You have an engineering degree or equivalent Engineering.
- You have 5 years or more experience in subsea fabrication with relevant experiences on subsea projects for CONTRACTOR or SUBCONTRACTOR.
- You must be familiar with fabrication specification and procedures.
- Fabrication follow-up on site/yard is a key aspect for the position and successful experiences fabrication site would be a clear advantage for the position.
- You should be familiar with the main welding processes and material types.
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English
