**About the job**

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Camelia restaurant in Paris, the Commis de restauration will carry out all required operational tasks and duties in the outlet under the guidance of the respective managers and supervisors, with the overall objective to serve food and beverages in a timely manner and delight and satisfy each guest

**As**runner**, you will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Participate in setting up the service, table setting, and various preparatory tasks.
- Act as an intermediary between the kitchen and the guests.
- Ensure excellence in customer service.
- Respond to guest requests in accordance with Mandarin Oriental standards.
- Actively participate in clearing the table

**As**runner**,** we expect from you**:

- First successful experience in hospitality (including internships and apprenticeships)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attentiveness, and courtesy
- Enthusiasm and excellent sense of service
- Teamwork orientation
- Fluent in English
