You join the SECM (Strategic Equity Capital Markets) team as an Analyst / Associate, within the Investment Banking division. The SECM department supports Corporate clients, financial institutions, Holdings and Family Offices on all their "action" issues, around four pillars: - **"structured / derivative" pole: strategic spin-off activity on own shares (structured share buybacks, structured employee stock ownership plans, equity linked instrument hedging) and on participations (reinforcement, hedging, exit);**: - **Primary / ECM Cluster: introduction, capital increase, equity-linked bonds, spin-off, ABB;**: - **Financings : operations in all their forms, secured by shares and assimilated ones, listed or not;**: - **Pole «consulting activity» : to be the advice of clients around special situations (activism, financial communication, «M&A public», valuation) or transactional projects.** **On a daily basis, your tasks are to**: - **Carry out the pricings in connection with the trading teams (derivatives and financing products);**: - **Link with internal teams involved in the structuring of transactions (business management, prudential standards, accounting standards, taxation);**: - **Support origination teams during customer interactions;**: - **Actively participate in executions (negotiation of legal aspects, participation in discussions within the framework of syndicated deals,...).** **As an Analyst/Associate, you participate in innovation and the proposal of new products, particularly on unlisted investments, while having a dominant 'equity-linked' position related to all Convertible and Exchangeable Bond transactions. as well as on derivatives transactions (options, structured share repurchases) and financing (margin loan, total return swaps,...).** **You work in an international environment, within a community of experts who place excellence, impact and collective action at the heart of everything they undertake.** **#TransformativeFinance** This position is based in Paris with the possibility of telecommuting. About the recruitment process You will be contacted by one of our recruiters before meeting with our business experts (manager, team member or business line). **Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience**: About you: if you recognize yourself in the following description, you are made to work with us: With a higher education (first rank engineering or business school), you have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in market finance functions or in banking. You master: - Advanced Excel (including VBA); - Python; - The basics of market finance (derivatives, pricing...); - Corporate accounting principles. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen, you are: - Analytical and rigorous, with a sense of organization; - Versatile, intellectually curious and endowed with a good spirit of synthesis; - Able to work in a team, proactive and open to collaboration; You master English with a B2 level.
