**Your mission**:
Your mission will be several parts of:

- You develop and improve algorithms for 3D multi-object tracking including
- motion models
- sensor measurement models
- assignment of detection
- You evaluate and select tracking algorithms which are able to track several UAVs
- You realize a modular and extensible senor data fusion framework
- You integrate hardware components including
- You liaise with the computer vision and acoustics experts in the team (because you use their detections for your tracking)
- You keep track of the current scientific publications in the field of multi object tracking
- You ensure a consistently very high quality of the overall detection and tracking pipeline

**Your profile**:

- University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Math, Physics, etc...
- Relevant experience with C++
- Interesting framworks are for example: EIgen, Ceres, GTSAM
- Rust is a bonus
- Also great to have ROS(2), OpenCV
- Intrinsic motivation, willing to go the extra mile, attention to detail
- Outside of the box creativity, conceptional & systematic design thinking, disciplined execution
- Servant leader mindset, placing team success over ego
- Highest moral standards and work ethic
- We value extra-curricular responsibilities and achievements in your biography
- Fluent in English or German
- Nationality of a NATO member nation or close ally is a must
