**What You Can Expect**:
As a Software Engineer within our R&D team, you will:

- Contribute to the definition and monitoring of product system requirements, for devices under development as well as for products already on the market.
- Analyze the various possible technical choices, propose them to the team and participate in the selection of the best solution
- Participate in device risk management activities (FMEA, patient risks, cybersecurity)
- Check links between software requirements and subsystems and vice versa, in collaboration with the system team or other subsystems.
- Guarantee the conformity of the deliverables you produce
- Participate in integration and verification activities (strategy, protocols, execution, reporting)
- Participate in usability activities (strategy, protocols, execution, reports)
- Provide technical support for design transfer activities
- Contribute to the creation, update and management of technical documents
- Contribute to impact analyses in case of design change on a device already on the market
- Support the certification team during evaluation tests and to establish the required files
- Support the QARA team (Quality and Regulatory) in drawing up regulatory files (CE, FDA, etc.)
- Support the Post Market Surveillance team in investigations and problem solving
- Contribute to the improvement of working methods

**What Will Make You Stand Out**:
You have an engineering degree or equivalent, and at least 8 years' relevant professional experience.

As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of projects, consisting of a system and several subsystems (e.g.: Hardware, Software and Robotics); you will mainly be involved in the software subsystem, but must have a general understanding of the complete system.

Ideally, you have a previous experience in complex medical devices.

**Required skills**
- Knowledge of C++ programming
- Proficiency in the use of the Visual C++ or similar development environment
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA)
- Ability to analyze, summarize and solve problems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Rigor and autonomy
- Proactivity and ability to make proposals
- Fluent English

**Desirable Skills**
- Knowledge of operating room constraints
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 14971
- Knowledge of IEC 60601 and 62304
